46664Fashion Spring Summer 2012 / 2013 Collection

46664Fashion is heading into Summer 2012/13 fearlessly - and full of enough fun and flamboyance to get the good times rolling well before the festive season swings around again. The dynamic third range from the social impact brand, which raises sustainable income for the 46664 organisation, lives up to its billing as a global player with highly covetable menswear and womenswear.

Head menswear designer, Chris Vogelpoel, describes Summer 2012/13 as a continuation of 46664Fashion’s “celebration of bright colours and bold contrasts”. Sometimes with its tongue firmly in its cheek, 46664Fashion’s Menswear Summer 2012/13 is spot on the current global trends - but never without the unique design twists that reflect the brand’s intense passion for Africa.

Always delivering the unexpected and not shy of being on the right side of flamboyant, Summer 2012/13 takes the at times worn-out “preppy” theme for a quirky outing – with the brand’s sought-after golfers now available in new standout colours, a perfect match for washed shorts. Denim shirts are a centrepiece of the range, featuring the distinctive shweshwe detailing that has found 46664Fashion devotees around the country and there are also plenty of blazers, chinos and jeans.

Head womenswear designer, Barbara Tosalli has upped the ante on the prints and colours that are fast becoming her signature across the range. “If a print doesn’t come out and bite you from afar, I don’t want it in the range,” Tosalli says of her super-sexy and infinitely wearable Summer 2012/13 range.

From wild, inventive animal prints to colours that make a statement and, always, a host of incredible details, 46664Fashion Womenswear 2012/13 is the first-choice for women who are looking for dynamic fashionwear that they can personalise at the drop of a stunning blouse.

Since launching at retail in August 2011, 46664Fashion has effortlessly seduced a growing number of brand devotees who are passionate about supporting this fund-raising mechanism for 46664 – founded by Mr Nelson Mandela as a way of taking forward his humanitarian legacy in 2002.

The brand’s wearers are deeply proud to be associated with 46664 – and with 46664Fashion’s launch internationally, the number of 46664Fashion followers is set to rapidly expand.

For the brand’s designers, this is only a further spur to keep creating bold, fearless ranges of great quality. “46664 continues to inspire me to constantly perform better and the brand has consumed me,” explains Vogelpoel. “The overwhelming response to the brand in the US and Europe has undoubtedly proved that the designs, quality and the fit are on track and that the story and ethos of the brand is on the move.”
