Superdry International Opens Second South African Flagship

Superdry is an international brand that was created in 2003 by Julian Dunkerton and James Holder in the UK, following an inspirational trip to Tokyo. They wanted to create a brand that focused purely on high-quality directional products, fused with vintage Americana/Japanese-inspired graphics. From its humble beginnings, Superdry has grown from its core British market, to now being sold in over 30 countries including Amsterdam; Sydney, Australia; Berlin; Copenhagen, Denmark; Dubai;  France; Germany; Dublin,  Ireland;  Korea; London; Luxembourg; New York and South Africa!

Superdry South Africa continues to make its mark on the local market with the launch of its second concept stores in Johannesburg’s most buzzing new destination Nicolway Centre. Decked out in authentic distressed woodwork, rusted metals and intense light zones, the store will be an awe-inspiring sight.

Superdry South Africa steps into the historic premises of the brand’s international aesthetic, reflecting its unique legacy of exclusive ranges, beautiful design and uncompromising Superdry style.

The store will showcase menswear and womenswear as well as the brand’s range of premium footwear, luggage, accessories and fragrances that combine to create the unique and stylish Superdry lifestyle. The striking interior blends modern interior architecture including wooden panelling, and original 1930s barber chairs, all under warm lighting to create a striking finish.
