Get The Look: Jerri Mokgofe x Anisa Mpungwe For MRP Spring Summer 2014

I did a series with this top and called it; Six Ways To Style One Look. If you follow me on Instagram www.instagram.com/accordingtojerri you might have seen it already.

The African print top which is technically a dress tucked in, to look like a top is from Anisa x MRP Collection available at MRP stores and online.  Men in womens clothes and women in mens clothes has always been a thing and taint even about cross dressing. Or may it is, is the glass full or half empty, you argue it out…

The black blazer I picked it up form somewhere for next to nothing – R50 at most I would say.  The denims are DIESEL, fucking in love with these denims, the cut; wash and distressed vibe got me going cray! My ugly shoes are from MRP as well, absolutely love them totes my summer vibe!

I am seeing the world through Dolce & Gabbana – naturally!

What did they say about a crispy-white-fitted-button-down shirt paired with yummy cut denims that just fit perfectly and footwear of choice? Correct, exactly, that! I decided to whip out these classics and give them a modern twist.

Do you have some retail stores that you never go in to because;

A. You already have this preconceived notion that their merchandise is way over priced and you not about that life?

B. You have already came to a conclusion in your head that there will be nothing in there for you anyways so why bother?

Yes, me too. I have written-off some stores in my head before I have even gone inside them to check out their product offering. The point is don’t knock it until you have tried it. What does this have to do with this post? Nothing, I just thought you must read a little something just-nje.

I picked up these denims from DIESEL the frames are RAY BAN (optics are Dolce & Gabbana), the summer parka is from TOPMAN and the leather slip-ons are MR B. for ALDO.

EATERY: KOI Restaurant, Rosebank in Johannesburg

Ofcourse it was fabulous the spinash creamcheese dimsum was an overall winner. Had a beautiful char-grilled fillet and washed it down with a glass of, one of my fave grapes – Beyerskloof Pinotage. Further trying out THELEMA Merlot because KOI was out of the Beyerskloof Pinotage.

You can never go wrong with KOI more especially surrounded by a great company and positive energies. If not, the food will make up for all the negatives.
