I did not that this woman even existed until
last week Sunday. I was standing with Mika Stefano observing the red carpet and all of a sudden Mika enthusiastically asked “OOOOOOHH Who is that with a turban?” I could not see
who he was referring to.
We split ways to chase after our own stories (new media journos). At the end of the red carpet there statuesque standing was most fabulous woman in the most
high tied up turban I have ever seen on the red carpet. It put out my turbanwearing stints to shame.
The person next to me was Sandiso Ngubane and I
frantically asked him “WHO IS THAT WOMAN?” and he told me that she was JeffRadebe’s wife like that meant anything to me. After further back and forth I
established that Jeff Radebe is South Africa's Minister of Justice and
Constitutional Development. Bridgette Radebe is his wife but not only is that she
Patrice Motsepe’s sister and EVERYTHING in my eyes.
She
is fabulous; I want to know everything about her. I have been engine searching her
story like my rent depends on it, it is all business, mines and less sparkle. I
need to know the dirt and the drama that can only make one’s story colourful.
Somebody needs to write her biography, I will be first in the purchase and
autograph line.
For
realz though, Bridg gurl you are fabulous, let us do tea with organic sugar
