Media Release: Celio South Africa Launch, Johannesburg








































“Aware of this emerging country’s importance in the worldwide economy, the brand has an ambitious development plan for South Africa. In the next 5 years Celio expects to open 15 stores in the main cities: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban.

Apart from the stand-alone format stores, Celio will be present in the main department stores of the country with shop-in-shops in order to increase its reach among the South African consumers, keen for fashion trends from around the world.

In May 2013 Celio has entered the market with a first store in Cape Town’s Canal Walk mall, one of the biggest malls in the country. This city was chosen due to the affluence of
International consumers that already know the brand, and the fashion influence it has in the country. The next step was naturally Johannesburg, financial centre and capital city, where a first store opened late in December 2013, at Rosebank mall. Other openings in this city are expected for the first semester 2014.”
