Canadian Tuxedo Style Inspiration x Style Spotting on The Streets of Johannesburg

Do you prefer your denim on denim with a contrasting shade of blue or with the same wash? I know initially it was said that the right way to wear the trend was to go for a light wash denim (i.e stone wash); styled with an inky blue (deep indigo) shade. Does this still apply of it is just rubbish? I never play by the rules so whateves!
