Swedish fashion brand
Tiger of Sweden adds another step to their international expansion by opening a
new concept store in Cape Town. The store, which will open by the end of
October, is one of the first of its kind world-wide, with a complete new concept
for the interior design. An architectural clean-cut store inspired by urban lifestyles
and minimalism.
The new concept store will open on the upper level
of the V&A Waterfront building, one of Cape Town’s most exclusive and
prestigious shopping destinations. The store contains the entire range of Tiger
of Sweden including men’s and women’s wear, shoes, accessories and the denim
line, Tiger of Sweden Jeans. With its 160 square metres, the store is the third
Tiger of Sweden store in South Africa, yet the first one to carry the new
interior concept. Custom made furniture of aluminium and steel combined with
contrasting texture on walls and velvet panels makes an eclectic mix that
relates to the Tiger of Sweden core values of professional individualism, high
fashion and Scandinavian tailoring with an urban feel. Tiger of Sweden is in a
very exciting phase right now where we focus on taking our brand outside
Scandinavia and out to the international market on a higher level than before.
South Africa continues to be one of our most important markets and we, together
with our exclusive South Africa partners, Brand Group International, are very
happy to be opening this new concept store, offering the client a total view
over our philosophy. “Our goal is to double our total turnover within the next
five years and to continue to strengthen our position as an international
