The collection also sees the introduction of a highly anticipated product range for men. After consulting a selection of stylish men, Townsend began developing product with their unique needs in mind. The James Laptop Sleeve is a slick, urban leather sleeve with slight padding for added protection, designed to fit a 13inch laptop. The Hugo Satchel comfortably holds a laptop, cables, notes, a diary and a wallet. The bag is perfectly suited for the casual yet style-conscious man who requires a practical yet tasteful storage solution. The Boombox Weekender, a leather hold all, can be used for travel or gym and has a handy waterproof inner pouch for wet towels. Two new menswear belts, the Justin, a slim, colourful style and the Philip, classic with a brass army buckle add the perfect finishing touch to any look.
Inspired by
her African adventure, Townsend began drawing intricate jungle scenes and
cheeky banana portraits. The Jungle, Graphic Diamond and Bunched Banana patterns were then printed onto both leather and
canvas. All fabric designs have been hand cut from black card in repeat to
create a linocut look, giving life through irregularity of line. The team
developed a fresh and vibrant colour palette of aqua and jungle green,
florescent coral, deep mustard and periwinkle blue.
